Pastel Cornwall wedding
Anneliese and Thomas’ Intimate Cornish wedding at Treseren was absolutely stunning and they had the BEST weather! I had the best time shooting their small intimate special day.
These gorgeous people are from Oxfordshire but decided to make the long but worthwhile trip to Cornwall to get married!
The Pre Wedding Photoshoot
Anna, Tom and myself first met for their pre-wedding photoshoot at Cardinham Woods with their two gorgeous pups! We chatted through their decisions to go from a big wedding to a small wedding and everything they wanted from their special day.
We had an amazing time and evidently they got some lush photos, reminding them of their pre-wedding holiday in Cornwall.
Here are some of those:
The Intimate Cornish Wedding
Anna and Tom woke up to a mild August morning. When I arrived Anna, her mum and her 4 bridesmaids were having their hair and make up done. I could hear the happiness and laughter from outside! Their morning was filled with smiles, laughter and most important of all… Crispy Creme Donuts!
Tom was getting ready with his best man on the other side of Treserens country house. He had help from the pups, the dads and also a whole load of donuts!
They got married in front of a gorgeously decorated flower hoop arch and said their I do’s just as the sunlight began to speckle through the clouds.
After a whole load of cheering and confetti, Anna, Tom and their guests settled on the terrace for some fizz and canapes. (Which I must say smelt INCREDIBLE!)
As the day went on the sun shone even brighter and everyone enjoyed an amazing meal by Duchy Chef.
Just before golden hour we took a little drive down to Crantock beach to have a gorgeous couple photoshoot in stunning evening light! Despite a very busy August saturday we got some LUSH photos in the sand dunes with some added smoke bombs for that dusky effect! We even wondered down to the water because why not get some sand between your toes on your wedding day!
After climbing up what felt like the tallest sand dune in history, I left Anna and Tom to sit in the dunes and watch the sun go down on their wedding day!
The Cosy Cornish Wedding Evening
On our return it was time for them to cut their cake and afterward, dance their first dance. They decided to have their first dance outside under Treserens stretch tent terrace, surrounded by all of their guests and sparklers.
Soon after they were toasting marshmallows on the fire before the evening continued with a flash mob by two of the bridal party and plenty more singing and dancing.
What a way to end a spectacular Cornish wedding!
Their day was filled with sunshine and laughter and because of this it was the best day ever! All in all I am so grateful to have been Anna & Toms intimate Cornish wedding photographer! I cannot wait to be back at Treseren photographing again!
