Caroline and Jack’s Pennsylvania Castle Estate Wedding in Dorset was everything a coastal celebration should be – elegant, joyful, and full of meaningful moments surrounded by the people they love most.

Getting Ready with a View at Pennsylvania Castle Estate

The day began in the beautiful bridal suite of Pennsylvania Castle Estate, where Caroline got ready with her bridesmaids. With the sparkling sea stretching out in front of them, the atmosphere was one of quiet excitement. Laughter echoed through the room as hair and makeup were done, and the view beyond the windows reminded everyone just how special this day was.

Penn Estate has a view over Church Ope cove as well as views along the Jurassic coastline! I mean, what more could you ask for on the morning of your wedding!

An Outdoor Ceremony by the Sea

Caroline and Jack chose to hold their ceremony outside. The sea as their backdrop and the summer breeze gently weaving through the trees. Surrounded by family and friends, they then exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that was as picturesque as it was personal.

Drinks, Games & Seaside Vibes

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and light snacks on the lawn, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Lawn games added a relaxed, playful energy to the afternoon, as guests mingled and made the most of the stunning grounds of Pennsylvania Castle Estate.

Dorset-Inspired Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast took place in a charming space filled with coastal charm and personal touches. Caroline and Jack had thoughtfully named each table after points along the Dorset coastline—a nod to their love for the area and the setting of their special day. Heartfelt speeches followed the meal, with stories, laughter, and then a few happy tears shared between family and friends.

Portraits by the Waterfall & Ocean Views

As the golden evening light set in, we wandered around the grounds for some portraits. We stopped by the castle’s waterfall feature, capturing intimate moments between the newlyweds, before heading to the edge of the grounds to soak in the sweeping views over the Dorset sea. With the dramatic backdrop of cliffs and ocean creating truly timeless images.

A Dorset Sea Shanty Send-Off at Pennsylvania Castle Estate Wedding

To round off the celebrations, guests gathered for a singalong with a local Dorset sea shanty group – Dorset Wrecks. With everyone joining in, the sound of laughter and singing filled the air. Then ending the day with a truly unforgettable, fun, and uniquely coastal vibe that perfectly reflected Caroline and Jack’s personalities.
