A Sun-Soaked Celebration: Lauren and Kieran’s Heartfelt Treseren Wedding

There’s something magical about a wedding at Treseren, and Lauren and Kieran’s special day on Saturday, 17th May, was no exception. Set against the backdrop of spring warmth and golden Cornish sunshine, this was a celebration brimming with love, laughter, and poignant moments.

Lauren and Kieran tied the knot beneath a beautifully styled floral arch on the front lawn of Treseren, with the talented Floribunda bringing floral dreams to life. The atmosphere was both joyful and emotional. A wedding day is a time in which you reflect on the love you have for people that are present and for people that aren’t and a Treseren wedding provides you the space and setting to do just that.

Treseren Wedding Morning

The morning was laid-back and full of gentle excitement. Guests wandered to the beach, the sun streamed through the windows as Lauren got ready upstairs with her mum and bridesmaid, and little Isaac, their son, woke from a nap just in time for some mummy cuddles. The calm before the celebration was intimate and filled with love.

Personal touches made the day even more special. Lauren gifted Kieran a pocket watch, while he surprised her with a Polaroid camera, something she’d been wishing for. Also, perhaps most meaningful of all, was the necklace and earring set Lauren wore, handpicked for her by her father.

A Unique Cornish Elopement

As the ceremony began, emotions ran high. Lauren’s walk down the aisle brought tears, while Isaac—full of energy—delivered the rings before dashing off to play with a nearby tractor. The couple added a fun twist to tradition by playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who would say their vows first, a nod to their playful spirit. Something they couldn’t miss out on as this is how they make decisions 90% of the time!

Following the heartfelt vows and official “I dos,” guests enjoyed sunshine, live music, drinks, and canapés before the couple slipped away for beach portraits at Holywell Bay. The tide was out, the skies clear, and Lauren and Kieran ran, laughed, and simply enjoyed a few moments together—exactly as they hoped.

Running across the beach and through the shallows on your wedding day is a feeling like no other. As we walked back to the car, Lauren & Kieran shared how grateful they were for this moment. And how they had definitely picked the right beach!

Treseren Wedding Evening

Back at Treseren, the evening continued with a relaxed, feasting-style buffet, touching speeches, cake cutting, and a sweet first dance on the terrace, under the setting sun. The day closed on a high, with everyone gathered, full of food, stories, and joy.

Lauren and Kieran’s Treseren wedding was a stunning blend of sentiment and celebration. It was a reminder of what really matters – love, family, and those shared moments that turn into cherished memories.
