Beachside Wedding in Cornwall
A beachside wedding in Cornwall, sounds dreamy, right? CORRECT!
This wedding was exactly that, dreamy! And I am about to show you how gorgeous Hannah & Jowan’s wedding really was.
All the way down in Cornwall, on the west coast, you will find the gorgeous wedding venue that is Lula. A beachside venue situated at the end of a 3 mile beach known as the Towans. And this is where their wedding took place!
A Relaxed Wedding Morning
On the other coast to their wedding venue, in Helston, Hannah and her bridesmaids were sipping champagne and getting ready for such a special day.
Wedding mornings in a family home, always hold such a special place in my heart. And I often try and capture some photos of things around the house that hold so many memories. I just think there is something so special about seeing baby photos on the mantle when you’re getting ready for your wedding day! Can you imagine!

Beachside Wedding Ceremony
Jowan waited nervously at the end of the aisle, watched on by Paddington bear, who had to be placed front and centre ready for Hannah & Jowan’s daughter! If you have a little one, you will definitely understand this!
Following on behind her bridesmaids, Hannah arrived to her very happy and smiley groom. They both spoke their vows with the sand dunes and sea in the background and had arguably the best surprise for their guests… their little pooch was their ring bearer! What a special touch!
And there really isn’t anything quite like walking out, as Cornwall’s newest married couple, to the sea air!

Cornish Wedding Reception
Think of the best canape you could have to kick off a wedding reception? Yep, you guessed it, beef and yorkshire puddings! And that is exactly what Hannah & Jowan had!
The guests chilled, listening to live music out on the beach deck with Gwithian beach in the background! Can you honestly think of something more beautiful!
We ticked off their group family photos before the wedding party, bride, groom and I headed down to the beach for some more photos!
One thing I always make sure when my couples have their portraits, is that they get to have fun! I will quite often bring music and a speaker to help things feel more relaxed and safe. And most importantly, every photo will have memories attached. So that there isn’t just a bunch of beautiful photos but a collection of gorgeous memories and moments.
The rest of the evening was filled with hilarious speeches, good BBQ food and a whole load of dancing. Oh and a facetime to Jowan’s best man who couldn’t make it due to military commitments!
A truly lush day!
