Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding

In amongst the beautiful chaos of Chelsea Flower show, Antonia & Sophie arrived at Chelsea Old Town Hall for their wedding in May.

This was only the second London Town Hall wedding I have had the chance to photograph and I couldn’t wait to be back!

They walked in to their ceremony together in the Small hall at Chelsea Old Town Hall. Surrounded by their friends and family they said I do, and became the latest married couple on Kings Road. Whilst their friends and family lined up on the iconic steps outside, they stole a few moments tucked away in the main hall. Which was perfectly accented by the sunshine streaming in on them – they were finally married!

Antonia & Sophie chose arguably the most iconic mode of transport to take their guests to the reception. A red double decker bus. The music was playing, the drinks were flowing and the sun was shining! After an amazing tour around London to see the sights, we started to see the downside of a wedding in Chelsea in Chelsea Flower Show week. The traffic!

But, nevertheless, after multiple traffic jams, a U-turn and two less passengers… everyone made it to the reception at The Wolfpack Fulham.

The reception kicked off with the ultimate wedding snack – chicken wings, chips and sausage rolls. I mean could you really get much better than that!

One of the best things about a wedding like Antonia & Sophie’s, is that you can have the intimate wedding ceremony which doesn’t feel like too much pressure, and then go on to have a fun, relaxing afternoon with your favourite people at the pub! They spent the afternoon catching up with all of their guests, and enjoying the day they had spent so long waiting for!

There was pizza, a scratch card or shot lucky dip, a sweet table and a photobooth! Antonia & Sophie really made their day totally suit them. They did their speech from the steps in the beer garden, a cake cut of the beloved Connie the caterpillar and a fun first dance with all of their guests!
