A Cornwall Elopement Wedding Just For Two

On a gorgeous sunny May day in Cornwall, Laura and Stacy decided they would say I do surrounded by rolling green hills and Cornish countryside. Their very own Cornwall Elopement Wedding.

When planning to get married they knew they wanted to do it THEIR way. And that involved an elopement to Cornwall, just the two of them. No guests, no fuss and definitely no stress!

The Elopement Morning

Whilst Stacy embraced the solitude & quietness relaxing in Treseren’s grounds – Laura had her hair and make up done by the lovely Hannah and Sam. The sun shone on them both as their ceremony drew closer – a definite sign that loved ones were looking over them on this day.

A Treseren Ceremony

Laura could see out of the bedroom window as Stacy was led out onto the front lawn ready for the ceremony. His nerves and excitement visible even from the top floor.

Kate at Floribunda had decked the Treseren staircase in the most beautiful flower arrangement that was able to be used for both Laura’s moment walking down to the aisle as well as adorning the ceremony space also.

Their ceremony had the most gorgeous 360 degree views of the Treseren house as well as the beautiful gardens, with nothing but bird song as the backing music to their vows. They spoke the most beautiful words from their own vows, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

Despite eloping with just each other, they didn’t miss out on a confetti moment! With thanks to the wonderful registrars and Emma from Treseren, we made it happen! The perfect ending to their gorgeous outdoor Cornish ceremony.

A Dreamy Cornwall Elopement Wedding Afternoon

Stacy & Laura then enjoyed Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a charcuterie style lunch. Which was followed by a wander around the grounds and a trip to the beach.

My favourite choice of beach to visit with couples marrying at Treseren has got to be Holywell Bay beach. About a 15 minute drive away and known for its twin rocks out in the sea! It is the perfect beach to explore and make the most amazing wedding day memories.

For me, it’s so much more than just going for the photos. It is all about making your day so special, especially for elopements. You have so much more room to adventure and make memories! One of my favourite memories from my own wedding was going to the beach and feeling the sand in my toes! And that is why with a Cornish elopement wedding, rain or shine, I will always encourage you to make the beach trip happen!

Mollie photographed our elopement wedding this May and we were totally and utterly thrilled in SO many ways.

The photos themselves are just beautiful , amazing , representative of is as a couple and timeless in their elegance, without being posed in any way.

More than that, mollie herself is just a wonderful , beautiful soul who completely put us at ease , with her funny , relaxed approach to the day, which was exactly what we wanted , at times we were just having a chat , without me even realising she was capturing the most gorgeous photos , making it even more special.

Nothing was too much trouble and although we completely trusted mollies approach, she was also so happy to take on any thoughts we had.
