Wandsworth Town Hall Wedding in May

Amalie & Louise booked me in for their London town hall wedding – which I was over the moon about as it was in fact my very first London wedding! It also happened to be in the middle of a heatwave! Somewhere, someone buried some sausages (ifykyk) and they got a scorcher of a day!

Choosing a smaller, more intimate town hall style wedding was exactly what Amalie & Louise wanted for their wedding day. They got ready at home together and arrived to see all of their closest friends and family at the Town Hall.

After saying I do to cheers and applauds from all of their favourite people, Amalie & Louise had the most AMAZING confetti moment! They definitely did the confetti right!

Bull’s Head Barnes Reception

After their Wandsworth town hall wedding, the plan was to all get on board their double decker bus. But as with all weddings, there is always a hiccup. And Amalie & Louise’s hiccup was that the double decker bus broke down… Even though we did have an engineer in the wedding party, it wasn’t meant to be!

Half of the wedding guests boarded all of the Ubers they could find! Whilst the rest of us headed down to the closest tube station. Spirits were high and memories were made.

If something does go wrong at a wedding day or elopement, it really is about how you want it to affect your day. These two decided it was going to be a great story one day, and there wasn’t one complaint from anyone. Everyone just made it fun!

The rest of the evening was spent enjoying good food, drinks, lots of laughter and a poll to decide their official last name! Despite the scorching sunshine for the majority of the day, we did get a little shower in the evening during their couple photos but there were definitely no complaints.
